Jadens Baptism

Jaden turned 8. Crazy crazy. We had his baptism in Florence.

This was a talk my mom gave on baptism. The stickers are all of Jadens sins. Since he wasn't baptized yet we were responsible for all those sins.

Now they are all Jadens sins. But he can take the sacrament and repent to renew the covenants of baptism and remove the stickers. My mom gave every kid there stickers at the end and I still here about that talk in primary. They remembered it.
His cake. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but for the time and lack of cake supplies in florence it turned out good. (By the way, I do have other cakes that I did around fathers day up on the cake blog)

Janie, Kelly and Yomar made it to the baptism. They even took Jaden back to boise with them. Which was kinda nice for a week. Natalia got those sunglasses from Grandpa Drake and didn't take them off. They are hello kitty. My mom must have the pictures of my side of the family because I seem to have nothing. I'll have to get those from her so I can put them up.

We made a video slide show for Jadens baptism but for some reason I can't get it to upload. I'll have to have tyson figure it out.

Blueberry picking

A friend of mine in Florence and I went blueberry picking. The blueberries were huge and gorgeous and tasty. I don't care how big of a blueberry it is it still takes forever to pick them. Especially with no husbands, 90 degree weather, and children. It made for a long day. Plus we drove like 3 hours away for these blueberries. But they were so worth it and were only $1.10 a pound.
McKylee kept crawling off the blanket and getting poked by sticks or sitting in blueberries that had fallen on the ground. Eventually she got strapped into her car seat and I got her light muslin cloth blanket wet and set it next to her to keep her cool so she would take a darn nap.
The kids helped me for a little while. Natalia probably helped longer than any other child.

We went to a place with hundreds of Monarch butterflies. It was pretty cool.

9 Months

This was actually in June but Mckylee is getting so big. She is 9 months on the 5th of August. She is crawling everywhere, climbing on things, getting into things, putting things in her mouth, and standing up.
She is a super happy baby as you can tell. The thing that makes he laugh is pulling Jadens hair. I'm not sure why but it does.
She doesn't like to cuddle in your arms but I've gotten a few moments of it. She is always on the go. Jaden was probably my most active child but McKylee is the terror of the family for sure. But we love her a ton and can't believe that she's already so big.

Pictures for Jadens baptism

We went across the street to the trail and while we were walking I took a whole bunch of pictures. If you know the Arnold family this is quite a job.

I think I will make this one an 8x10 I really like it. (If you didn't notice, the Book of Mormon he is holding is in Dutch).

This is the trail right across the street from us. I just love it. After we took the pictures I put them into a collage and made his baptism invitations to send out to people.
 Just a cool dragonfly

Art easel

Natalia finally got her art easel. She loves to paint, draw, anything.

That would be the start of a picture for Nathan. He in end was riding a bike with a honker horn and a whole bunch of other details. It was quite the masterpiece.

Jaden and Basebal

Jaden really enjoyed baseball. We had some pretty nice weather. We only had one game that got rained out which I thought was pretty good for Florence. He has some practicing bu
