Clean Eating

So we are trying this new meal planner. It's called emeals.com. So far I love it.
1. I don't have to come up with meals, it does it for me and then emails me the menu once a week with recipes and everything.
2. It gives me a grocery list once a week of everything i will need, how much of it i need and what meals it is for.
3. I love the recipes and it's helping us eat healthier.
You can choose different plans. We chose clean eating because that's what I like and it has a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Plus lots of different types of recipes.
They have other plans like organic, gourmet, classic, vegeterian, low calorie, low carb, etc.
The soup was white bean and kale soup and it was soooooo good. My kids even loved it. Oh with the recipes there's always a main dish and a side dish. It's seriously so freakin amazing. Our meals have been so colorful lately, we don't have a ton of leftovers or food going bad in the fridge because we forget to use something we bought. If I really want to I can switch out recipes here and there because some days I might not like something. Like tonight we are supposed to have pork shoulder roast with cabbage and a quinoa side salad. I'm still doing the salad but i hate, no i loath cooked cabbage so we are going to have baked salmon with pesto and feta on top since we have salmon in the freezer and pesto and feta left in the fridge from a couple of nights ago. Also that salmon was so AMAZING I want it again. It sounds expensive but it really isn't because you aren't buying stuff that you might or might not use. You know what you need exactly. Then you go grocery shopping once a week to get those items. I never buy feta and "fancy" stuff like that because i'm poor and cheep but i am saving money doing this.
