Yes we had are first snow in Rigby Idaho. All I could say was Yuck! I know the snow is pretty but not the first week of October didn't enjoy that one bit. Also, the snow seems to never go away here. This picture is after it melted a little in the morning. The day before and all night it snowed pretty hard and didn't stop. The only thing that kept it from accumulating more was that it was a really wet snow.
