Martins Cove
Our first adventure was making our way up to Martins Cove. It is in the middle of no where and takes some time to get up there even from Idaho. We left around Midnight on Saturday, July 22nd. We had decided to drive all night which was ok because I didn't drive. However, while driving we ran into alot of deer on the road that we so graciously scared off the road for the rv behind us. Later on the RV decided to take the lead and the van (which I was in) followed. Very shortly after this decision a large Moose decided that the right time to cross the road was five feet infront of the RV. Good thing Kelly (Tysons Dad) was driving because that Moose walked away unharmed. We finally arrived at Martins Cove. We were running a little late so we didn't do any hiking. If you have ever been to Wyoming though you know how ugly it is. It is so dry there, in the winter though it is freezing and covered in snow. It was a very solem place to be. I am so grateful for modern day conveniences. I don't know how anybody survived that area for any length of time. There are no trees and the only shelter is between swelsl in the so called mountain, which aren't very big.
