Sorry, It's been a while. We have been so busy here and I have had no time to do anything except school stuff. I haven't had a day off until today and that wasn't even a day off becuase of cross country and my horrific house. I don't have any clean dishes and I finally have a giant pile of clean laundry becuase I was all out of clothes. I cleaned the downstairs bathroom and downstairs today, not including Jadens room and finally got done cleanning by 3 when it was time to go to cross country. How imberressing to admit that my house is actually that messy.
Other than how messy my house is it's been cross country, music, cross country, some more music and some more music. I am so behind what I need to have done for the first day of school and we allready started. I have had so many meetings during "planning time" that I haven't had time for planning.
We had our first cross country meet and my students had a blast. It was the famous mud run in the area. They decided to get me muddy this year and almost broke my camera. Thank goodness I finally got it working again. I will post pictures later. Give me some time to get caught up. You need to be patient though becuase I don't have a weekend for another three weeks. Ugh.

Trevor and Audras wedding cake
This was left over cake mix that I made into cupcakes. They are a raspberry cupcake with chocolate ganache frosting
The cake didn't really lean it was the table. We decided that fresh cut flowers are the prettiest. Her colors were a dark purple and that yellow.

Some of the detail work up close
I embossed the fondant and made diamonds and then put sugar pearls in the corners.
By the way the tiers were
Raspberry cake with chocolate ganache
White almond cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting
Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting
and a Black Forest Torte (the devil of my life)

Martins Cove
Our first adventure was making our way up to Martins Cove. It is in the middle of no where and takes some time to get up there even from Idaho. We left around Midnight on Saturday, July 22nd. We had decided to drive all night which was ok because I didn't drive. However, while driving we ran into alot of deer on the road that we so graciously scared off the road for the rv behind us. Later on the RV decided to take the lead and the van (which I was in) followed. Very shortly after this decision a large Moose decided that the right time to cross the road was five feet infront of the RV. Good thing Kelly (Tysons Dad) was driving because that Moose walked away unharmed. We finally arrived at Martins Cove. We were running a little late so we didn't do any hiking. If you have ever been to Wyoming though you know how ugly it is. It is so dry there, in the winter though it is freezing and covered in snow. It was a very solem place to be. I am so grateful for modern day conveniences. I don't know how anybody survived that area for any length of time. There are no trees and the only shelter is between swelsl in the so called mountain, which aren't very big.
