Natalia is going to be 1 in three weeks. How depressing. I want her to stay tiny forever. I want to try making a differant type of cake and was browsing on the internet and came across this cake. So, I am going to attempt to make this for Natalias first birthday, I don't know how I will do the butterfly and I want to put a real Tiarra on the top and then someday she can use it for dress up. This is a picture of a picture if you want to see a better picture her is the url for it http://blog.pinkcakebox.com/princess-themed-1st-birthday-cake-2008-07-07.htm
I made Natalias easter dress and it turned out so cute. My mom got her a really cute easter basket last year and it has yellow on it, so I made a yellow dress to match. The first picture is of the back of it and the second picture is of the whole outfit (I didn't make the shoes, headband, or cardigan. Those are all from the fabulous store in the mall) I can't wait to see her in it she is going to be so cute.
This picture is of a dress I made for myself. It looks alot better on a person but I refuse to post any pictures of myself until I have lost a total of 20 pouns. I am three pounds away and am kind of stuck but I say that and then I lose another two or more pounds the next week.
Other things that are going on aren't much. I am busy with my calling and helping other people out with music stuff here and there.
School is going pretty good but just like everywhere we are facing some pretty bad budget cuts. Our district alone is facing a 1.2 million cut and we are better of the 95% of the schools in the state of Idaho. They haven't made any decisions yet as to what they are going to do but some of the things on the table are 4% pay cut which is pretty set in stone by the state, cutting cross country, soccer, baseball, softball, and golf. Not happy about that idea. Cutting 15% of the music budget which it sounds like that is going to happen and lots of other stuff. They are looking into a 4 day school week and all day kindergarten which is what Rigy school district is allready doing and that's what Jaden will have next year. We will see what happens. I just am really greatful that I still have a job and they really aren't looking at cutting teachers or staff yet. That's the last thing they want to do. Especially where technicaly we should be adding teachers next year because we are moving up a division. (We will be 4a)
We signed Jaden up for AYSO soccer and he is so excited. I hope he stays excited because it cost $56, and we still need soccer shoes, mom, dad. Maybe a birthday present?
Next week is Spring Break for me. Yahoo!!!! I am going to go to Salt Lake fore two days and see Amber. Jaden thinks we are going just to give her cookies. I am not making a 3 hour drive just to deliver cookies to someone. i am so excited for Spring Break it is much needed right now.
Natalia is 11 months old now and I don't know how much she weighs. I just know that she is still in 6-9 month clothing and is just so cute. She has a little spunky attitude but we love it. She is crawlling of course like crazy and gets into everything. She has a morning routine. When I set her down she crawls to the front room, takes bobble head hello kitty and plays with her for a second or two and throws here, then she stands up and throws all the cd cases across the room, (yes I said standing), then she goes to her high chair and throws all that out and then she is content to play with everyting she has thrown on the floor. She is standing up and she lets go of what ever is supporting her sometims. If we give her the little dolly stroller that Grandma Morgenegg got her for Christmas she will walk about 10 steps. She just isn't confident to let go yet. We've tried to get her to walk from one person to the other but she gets so excited she can't even see straight.
I have a performance in Firth (45 minutes away from my house) tomorrow and a funeral that I am supposed to make jello for so I should probably go and make the jello and then go to bed.
