Fall

We went to the pumpkin patch again this year. I love the pumpkin patch. It brings back so many memories of when I was a little kid. We would go to White's Produce in medford and ride the tractor out to the field, choose our pumpkin and just have a nice relaxing day. Now you go to pumpkin patches and they have giant mazes and millions of cars and it's no fun. Luckily there's still a few good old family pumpkin patches around.

He Seriously can't take pictures without being a goof. It drives me crazy. All I want is a nice picture. I blame the Arnold side.

How can you resist those beautiful blue eyes?

I love this Picture. She is so happy to have that pumpkin.
She is full of funny faces.

She had to carry her own pumpkin.

She is loving this Root Beer Float

She Did not like this tractor.
I  love this picture of Natalia!

First Day of School

It's pretty crazy. I have a Fourth Grader and a Kindergartner! I have to say though I kinda love it. When McKylee takes her naps I actually can get something done. Not that I don't love my kids. I love them to pieces but I need a break from them and they need a break from me.
So Jaden is in Fourth Grade.
He still loves legos.
Always has Math homework.
We finally actually had to tell him to put a book away last night. That's a first in this house with him. Normally we are forcing him to read his 40 minutes every day. Now we just need to work on practicing our spelling words.
He has become best friends with the principals kids. They live just down the road and play together on a regular basis.
Natalia LOVES School. She is pretty much a perfect student. She doesn't talk and she follows every instruction. She brings back blue tickets every day (those are for really good behavior). She is soaking everything up. She still likes to read and she likes gymnastics.
McKylee hates that Natalia goes to school but after her nap she does ok. She asks till they come home where Natalia is though. She is talking like crazy. She loves to get dirty. The sand in our backyard is her favorite spot and if you deprive her from it be ready for a tantrum. She gets into everything and needs to be in the middle of everything. Like right now I'm sitting at the computer so she needs to sit at the computer. We love her and she is still nicknamed "Silly" by Natalia. In fact if  you her Natalia call her by her real name it usually means McKylee is making her mad or getting into something.

Natalia and Dads Birthday Celebration

Natalia is now 5 years old! It's crazy. She follows every predictable trend out there. First it's the Lorax. Now it's Tinker Bell and Frozen. I have to admit the new Tinker Bell movie is pretty awesome and who doesn't love Frozen. She is in gymnastics and will have a gymnastic show here in June. They are dancing to Frozen "Let It Go" ( I am getting sick of this song).
Her hair is still thin and doesn't grow much. She loves pink and has nicknamed McKylee "Silly". They get along great. I don't know what we will do when Natalia is in Kindergarten next year.
Natalia is full of fun little facts. She was over playing with a friend a couple of weeks ago on the sand dunes. When her friends mom yelled for them to come back to the car Natalia quickly ran over yelling "I'm Running Because Running Is Good For You" The oldest brother thought it was pretty cute. When I go on a run she wants to run with me. That  is a small problem. I love that she wants to run and understands the benefits of being active. We planted our garden and she has pretty much taken it over. She reminds me to water HER plants. She picked out everything except the tomatoes.
She loves to look at books. When she wakes up in the morning you will find a pile of books under the cover that she must have fallen asleep with. She loves library story time and on hot days like this last week she loves going to the lake and playing in the sand and water and catching salamanders.

This cake was a white almond cake with strawberry danish dessert and fresh strawberries for the filling. Each level has four layers to make it extra tall.
The figurines are the storybook collection found at Toys R Us. I didn't want to even try to attempt to make them out of gum paste. Plus I no longer live close to a store that would carry those items. The closest joanns and micheals is an hour away.
The frosting is Vanilla buttercream with a white chocolate ganache drizzled over top.
The Castle, Trees and the Snowflakes are made out of white chocolate.

Les Miserable

Most of you already know but if you don't I will let you know right now. I have been casted as Cosette in our community production of Les Miserable that will premiere in November. I am super excited and super nervous at the same time. There are two times that I have to sing at the very top of my range (meaning the highest note I am capable of physically hitting). Right now I don't hit the note on a consistent basis. But I will by november if it kills me.  As it gets closer I will post links and information for you to purchase tickets if you are interested in coming.

Easter 2014

I know it's been a long time. I feel like a spaz.  I am running every which way and trying to get everything done. So give me some time but I will get things up to date for everyone as fast as I can.

I did make the girls dresses.

Here's some of our Easter for you though.
