McKylee Celeste Arnold

Here is our princess. She arrived on November 5th weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is perfect and all I do is hold her. I want to soak in every moment with her. I took some new born photos of her because we are going to have to wait till christmas for professional pictures since that's when we will be in Eugene again probably and that's when we are getting family pictures so it's just easier that way. So don't judge my poor photo shoot skills and just enjoy how beautiful she is and how much hair she has. For some reason my computer wouldn't rotate some of my pictures and save it so i gave up.

 not even a day old

Our House

So here's our house. Don't mind the mess but I clean every morning and that's about all I can handle. When Jaden gets home from school he strips as he walks through the house and it takes forever for him to clean it up. It only takes like 5 seconds for him to make the mess you think it would take the same amount of time to clean it up. The house is completely unpacked except for one box that needs filing. The house was built in the 70's and the inside looks like it with help from the carpet, linoleum that never looks clean, and the orange countertops.
This is Natalia eating her cookie that she frosted and dumped sprinkles on. She was so proud of her three cookies that she frosted and decorated and wouldn't let anyone eat them. I had no problem with that since she licked her fingers a thousand times during the process.

 Natalia and McKylees room
Natalias bed. I finished the quilt and put minky on the back. I really liked how it turned out. She loves it to which makes it even better. My mother in law actually helped me quilt it and when I didn't get it done before leaving her house she kept it and finished it with my sister in law. I am so grateful they did that so I didn't have to worry about it. Then when Tyson came they sent it with him and my mom helped me put the bias around it. I had to make the bias myself. That's a challenge and very time consuming but I really liked the end result.
Here's a close up of it.

The kids bathroom. Our master bathroom is the same setup just smaller. The sink is outside of the actual bathroom which is interesting but not a huge deal. It's kinda nice so I can do my hair even though Tyson is in the bathroom
My bedroom. That would be Natalia asleep on my bed. The suitcase is for when we do have McKylee. I don't want to put it in the car though because I need my toothbrush and stuff like that to go in it.
The other half of my room. I can't wait to have McKylee in the play pen. It's all ready for her. I really like how big my room is. It's nice not to have to worry about stubbing my toes on anything when I'm walking in it. We also have the master bathroom in there and a walk in closet.

Our family room. The company we rent from doesn't allow fires on the premises, so the fire place is covered up so I put our family pictures there even though they need updated. I have last years pictures I just never got to printing them off and now we need knew ones.

 The kitchen

I told you. Orange counter tops. Not really my style but they fit the season right now.
Our Front hallway. That would be the cat. Poor Diamond is outnumbered with cats. She has one in the house constantly hissing at her. Then the one that gets in our garage if we leave it open. It's a sweet black cat but likes to tease Diamond by sitting on our car. Then we have an orange one that sits on our fence all day and Diamond lays under it waiting for it to fall. It's also super nice and loves Natalia. It will get down if Natalia is outside and the dog isn't looking. We call it Garfield because it's a fat kitty with a harness instead of a colar.

Half of our patio is covered which is really nice when it's raining. You can also see we have a garage door in our backyard. You can drive straight through the garage if you wanted. It's supposed to be for a boat or something but it just made it nice to get things to the backyard.

I somehow missed Jadens room. THis is Jadens room. We are working on making the bed and keeping it clean.
Yes our grass is kinda brown but the house didn't have anyone in it for two weeks or more and so it didn't get watered and even in oregon you do have to water during the summer. Now it's starting to rain and it's slowly turning green again. We have a ton of storage space. There is no wasted space in this house. It's kinda nice.

Florence, Oregon

So this is the beach just five minutes away from our house. The kids love love love the sand dunes. I think they like the sand more than the amazing ocean.

They are running along the sand with daddy. I am obviously getting left behind. It's the story of my life right now. I should go running just so I go into labor I think. Maybe I'll try it tomorrow morning.
 Natalia holding up seaweed.

There are crab shells all over our beach. I'm not sure why but there are. The kids think it's soooooo cool. I think Jaden can barely stand waiting or Grandpa or Stefan or Nathan to take him crabbing. He constantly is talking about it.
The next pictures are from a place called the Devils something. I can't remember exactly what it's called but it's way cool and super loud because of the waves hitting the rocks.

This is Heceta beach. It's about 20 minutes up the road. There's a lighthouse up on the hill but right now you can't see it because it's under renovation. It should be done in a month or two and we will go back to actually go see it. The beach is gorgeous though.

Somebody wrote this in the sand.
The kids wanted to climb the rocks to go chase the birds on the other side of the creek. As soon as they got over there the birds had flown away and the tide started coming in.
Natalia wants to do everything herself including climbing rocks by herself.

Once again Natalia needs to climb across the log over the freezing creek water by herself
