Mud Run

So, most of you know that I am a cross country coach here in Idaho. Well, in this area we start off our year with a fun meet. It's not realy a race of any sort. The kids love it and it deserves the name that it recieves. Take a look. For some reason my girls love it and my boys hate it so I only had two boys run it this year.

First Days Of School

So far school is going pretty good. I have one family that is allready unhappy with me but I am exahausted at trying to please them. We had another meeting with them and we will just see how it goes from here on out. Hopefully things will get better. Other than that I love my classes. They have so much talent this year and are such a fun group of kids. Every one told me to expect my numbers to drop after the first year because I was a new teacher in the district but I was lucky and all my students except three came back and then I made up for all the seniors that left us last year. In fact, the three students that didn't come back are planning to be back in the second semester so we are doing really well. I am still hearing about more numbers and I hate to think that way because I don't consider my students a number but that is the game that the district is playing and with budget cuts I have to play it some as well. I have no doubt that the program will grow after this year though, because our students sound so good and I really believe that will draw more kids into the program. I really need more boys. I have about 40 girls in all my choirs put together and I have a total of 13 boys in all my choirs put together. One choir has 25 girls and eight boys. The boys are really holding up there part well though and I am proud of them. Cross Country is going good. I am struggling to get girls out but we do have a full team which is important. You have to have five for a full team. My boys if they continue with the hard work will be able to make it to state this year as a team and they seem to really want it. So, on Halloween I will be at the state cross country meet in Northern Idaho. This year it will be at a golf course near Moscow I believe instead of Lewiston. I told Tyson to be prepared to come with me becuase I am not missing my little girls first halloween. I missed halloween last year with Jaden and Jessica said he was so funny running around getting candy. I can't miss it again this year so they are going to have to follow me up there and we will do some kind of trick or treat with the boys families that come up with us. Well I've gotta go to bed. I have an assembly to take part in tomorrow and then I am singing the National Anthem at the first football game of the season against our rival. I am so excited for Football to start up. I need someone to send me a big Oregon Duck poster to hang in my room for reactions. Everyone here is a Boise Stae fan or BYU fan and when I have my Oregon stuff they are so funny about it.

Giggles

Natalia giggled today! It was so adorable and so fun. I was the first one to hear it. I know she giggled in her sleep Mom, but that doesn't count because she didn't know she did it. Oh I love little girls. Also, the other day at day care Natalia started crying because she was hungry. Well, she started getting pretty upset and Jaden heard it and said, "someone hurt my sisser" and he went to go take care of business. The day care ladies had to calm him down and make him realize that she was just hungry. What a sweet brother. So protective over his little sisster. He loves her so much and they are always talking to eachother and feeding off of eachother. I don't know if that's a good thing but for now it's so cute. They will be in the back of the car and Jaden will make a funny face at her and she will squeel and smile and Jaden will start laughing, which makes Natalia happy and then she squeels some more. It's been so much fun. Everyone tells us that Jaden is such a good big brother and that he has grown up so much since Natalia was born. His sunbeam teachers say is so good and such a big help in class, and he loves his sunbeam teachers. They live next to us and they have a little dog. Every once in a while Brother Day will walk by with the dog and Jaden will yell, "Hello Sisser Day!" He hasn't figured out that a boy is Brother and a girl is Sisster. It's very cute and his teachers just smile and laugh.

Four Months Old

Natalia Rae Arnold
Weight: 12 pounds 14.5 ounces 30th percentile
Length: 24 inches 40th percentile
She hates getting those darn shots
Loves to talk and squeel
Loves her big brother and he loves her so much. They are always talking to eachother and playing.
She giggles every so often here and there but only for a second. She hasn't quite figured it out.
She likes being outside and likes the water most of the time.
She loves sucking on her hands and her "princess toy" (jaden calls it that) it's one of those small blanket squares with a teddy bear head on it.
She rolls all over the place and wiggles all the time. She has also figured out how to scooch on her back by lifting up her bum and pushing back with her legs.
She loves smiling and we just love her little smiles.
I can't believe how much she is growing. It makes me so sad sometimes but I have loved every minute of my little girl>
You can post comments on the blog now I got it fixed. Sorry about that.

Baby Shower

My friend Temala threw me a baby shower for my little girl. We had so much fun with the pink and brown, and she did such a good job with everything. These are pictures of some of the stuff we decorated. It was simple but I like simple so that was perfect. We had it a month early because of Skylers wedding, and Temala was going to be out of town. Good thing we did though, because she came one and a half weeks later. I have lots more pictures and if you want to see them just ask and I will put more up. Thanks for all the presents we really appreciated them, especially Tyson becuase then I didn't buy as much.

first day of school

We barely survived the first day back. My show choir is huge, which is good but they are loud. We are hitting the ground sprinting. We have about five or six performances befor Christmas that I can think of and they all require different music. Ah!!!!!!

Random Craftiness

I have been making Natalias baby book slowly because I just couldn't find any I liked and they are so expensive. So here are some of the pages I am rather proud of. I tried to take some pictures of the pictures from the hospital so those of you not on facebook can kind of see all the chords she was hooked up to, and I was hooked to just as many. Holding her when I finally got to was a mess. We got so tangled up.
And a picture of me. I am now five pounds lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight. Now if I could just be 10 pounds lighter.

more cute ones

random cuteness

more house

Natalias Room

I bought Natalias crib set and then I matched everything to it. I had lots of fun. I painted the pictures above her crib becuase I couldn't find anything I liked.

My House

So, some of you haven't seen the fun I have had with my house. I did this mostly so my Grandma and Grandpa Morgenegg could see. Warning. It's a little crazy but if you know me it fits my personality perfect.
My dinning room is centered around the pitcher on my table. It's all music. I am making seat cushions to go with it and they are going to be all different colors. They will be mauve, dark purple, baby purple, orange, dark blue, and teal. Then I am going to make matching place mats.
