8 Months and More

My Baby is 8 Months Old! I can't believe how the time has flown. She is sitting up, jabbering all the time. Loves to scream and then smile. She is almost cralling she can't get the arm and leg moving at the same time but she is getting closer. We do alot of face plants into the floor right now. We love having a little girl. She is still tiny and wearing 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers. I don't mind though I like how little she is. Her hair is long enough on top to put it into a pony tail. It sticks straight up and I call it her antenna, but it is just so darn cute. Jaden and her are going to be so fun at Christmas because of how into toys they both are. She loves the gerber puffs and could eat them all day if I let her. She loves her big brother and he is the one that can get her to laugh the most.
I had my Christmas concert on Monday and it went well. I wish it would have been a little more prepared but what can you do. Jaden had a solo and did well in the first concert and was a little more defiant in the second concert but it was still so cute. He sang "I'm wishing on a star" from polar express. My one choir did a medley from it and suggested that my son sing the solo in it. We had two concerts and they both were full. It was fun and the kids loved it because the prinicipal didn't think we could fill two up and those students were out to prove him wrong. He admitted later that it was a good idea to do tickets and have two concerts. Ha!! That's all I can say about that. We also have an ancient little theater with and ancient sound system. But, in our gym we have a $40,000 sound system. What is wrong with that picture. Anyway, it was acting up really bad at the concert to the point that I apologized to the audience and just had to let it be annoying. Well, the principal and super were there and heard how horrible it was, and decided to start looking for a new sound system finally. Hopefully we have it before the end of the year. I think things are finally starting happen at the school. I am a little bit of an annoying person right now but it seems to be working. I am not satisfied and they realize that something needs to be done. I'm just glad the concert is over.
My blood pressure has dropped but is not as low as it usually is. I am going to go in and have them check my thyroid and some other stuff to see if there is something else other than stress that is causing it to go funky.
We went to our ward party before the ward change and couldn't get Jaden to want to go. We told him Santa would be there and that got him in the car right away. When we arrived at the church he got out and asked, "where are santas reindeer?" It was so funny and cute and made perfect sense to him. If santas here than his transportation should be outside. He really loves christmas. He has been walking around the house and everywhere singing Christmas songs that he heard on the Christmas radio station.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Change

As a people, we don't like change. Well today in Rigby we got one of the biggest changes ever made here. Let me give you a little history about little old Rigby, Idaho. I am not sure on how many people live here but I can tell you that we have two street lights and one grocery store, oh and three gas stations. To say the least we are a small town. You could almost call us a village. Eugene/Springfield area is about 5 or 6 times our size if not 10 times our size. Well, last week we had an announcement that we would be having a stake conference this week. We all knew this was coming soon. Our two stakes in Rigby had 14 wards and 10 wards. Today they announced a new stake in Rigby (this does not include the outside surrounding area. They have their own stakes). Yes, little old Rigby now has three stakes in it. Our ward boundries consist of about three miles, maybe four. Our previous ward was part in downtown rigby and then across the highway. Well, my neighborhood got the ultimate change. We are in a different stake, ward, and building. Infact we don't have a bishop or any callings yet in our war. We aren't a new ward but a very made over ward. We got the biggest makover of them all. I am sad because I really liked our ward but am excited because I won't be playing the piano in relief society any more. I like playing the piano but I am excited for the change. Lets see how long I can hold my little secret until someone blabs. I am worried about Jaden because we showed him where are new church building was and he says he doesn't like it. He likes his own church building, and he loves his sumbeam teachers. They are still in our ward luckily and hopefully they get called to the same calling. If so we will be just fine but if not Jaden is going to have a rough couple of weeks, which means we will have a rough couple of weeks. So to recap, Rigby now has three stakes, We have been moved to a new stake, ward, and building and it is the one ward that got completely reorganized. This will be an interesting new year.

Today

I can't wait to be in Oregon on Wednesday. I just hate having to get things ready for a sub. Today at church Natalia was wearing her Thanksgiving dress that I made her and so many people asked me where I got it. It was so fun to say I made and them be so shocked. One lady came up and asked that question and then said that Natalia is always in the cutest outfits and asked me where I got all of them. I loved that but to tell the truth I get them all over the place. Some has even come from walmart. My favorite place to get clothes is the clearance rack in Gymboree, and lucky for me, not so lucky for Tyson we just got one in or mall. Anyway, she said that if she has another girl that she is going to hire me to shop for her. I laughed but it was a nice copmliment. Pictures will come soon. When we go to Oregon Jaden and Natalia will wear their outfits again and I will get pictures. I just couldn't make it look like fall outsidewith all the horrible snow that has fallen today. Yes, it snowed and from what I've heard it is here to stay. Which means I am going to cut this off right now so that I can get some sleep so I can leave at 6:45 in the morning to get to school in one piece.

7 Months

I can't believe that Natalia is 7 months old. I swear she was just born yesterday. She is still so tiny and wears some 6-9 month clothes but most of it it 3-6 months. We just got rid of 0-3 months about a week ago. I don't know how tall or how much she weighs right now, but I do know that she is the cutes thing alive. She is sitting up on her own and tries to take everything from me. She loves to put stuff in her mouth and loves her own voice. Oh, and she LOVES to dance, especially to Enya. She is also a true girl. Yesterday I went Christmas shopping and the bags were next to her seat and she was grabing them to see if there was anything for her. It was so cute! I wish I had gotten a picture of it. Can't wait to see some people in a week in OREGON!!!!

Christmas Dress, PJ's and Thanksgiving Dress

First things first. I am so excited Amber got her mission call. We will all be together for Thanksgiving and will get family pictures and so I have lots of dresses to make. I finished my first one which is Natalias Christmas Dress. The brown with green and teal is going to be her thanksgiving dress with the same exact pattern as her christmas dress just a smaller size it turned out really big, but that's ok. It can fit her longer. The green one is perfect for thanksgiving since it is Ambers favorite color. Then the other fabric is for her PJ's for christmas and the pattern I am using. It will be the red night gown on the front of the pattern. I was impressed with how the dress turned out, probably because I didn't have to do sleeves on it. For the green one I want to make a hat to go with it, like and artist hat or chef hat but all the baby patterns I find don't have one, they all have bonnets and sun hats. So, if you find one email me with the pattern information.

FIRE!!!!!

So, pictures will come soon but I didn't have my camera on me. Today the music department was incharge of making breakfast for the faculty. We decided to make french toast. We had alot left over so we decided to make the rest for second hour for making such an amazing door decoration. I had an extension cord plugged into the wall, a surge protector plugged into the extension cord and two skillets plugged into the surge protector. I was cookin and all of the sudden I heard and saw alot of sparks on the other side of the table, then I saw a fire probably about a foot high. I was a little worried because our big basses were right next to it. Luckily the one in the cover was the closest it would have caught on fire in two seconds with all that laquer. By the way did I say I was in the music room? Anyway, I called for Lynda who was teaching class and she got one of her students to run to the office. While that happened I mannaged to reach over and get the cord unplugged which calmed down the sparking down, which calmed the fire down enought that I was able to fan it out with the spatula or it just went out on it's own. The student that went to the office told them we had a fire in the music room and they laughed and said very funny. He then told them really there's a fire in the music room and they pulled the fire alarm and then dale came down. We had a fire drill because of me!!! Since it was the last day of the quarter alot of teachers were giving tests and our vice prinicpal alway has fire drills at the last of the month. We went outside and one of our teachers was about to rip into Dwight when I told her it was real and she started laughing histaricly, and started laughing even harder when she came and saw it for herself. The extension cord as far as we know got hot somewhere in the middle and melted the protective rubber and then started to spark resulting in a fire. The surge protector is fine, both ends of the extension cord are new becuase it was new just the middle is fried. So I started my first fire and it was at school and allready the students have tons of rumors going around that I blew something up and some of the kids that were in there when it happened have brought their friends in to see it. One of my students took a picture of it. I told Lynda we could make some real money off of this in the school. They can't replace the carpet it's part of history and the teachers have given me a theme song "ring of fire". I really have one going for me this year.

I Miss Devoitional

Last night when we were enjoying our wheat free dinner and cookies that Janie made us we were talking about a recent devotional at BYU-Idaho that Dallin H. Oaks gave. I read it online and think that everyone needs to read it. It talks about our religious freedom through the constitution and how it is under threat and current attack. I have added a link so that you can go straight from my blog. Again, everyone should read it I would even suggest a good family home evening discussion with older children of course. It's amazing.

Halloween and Update

We had districts on Friday and my boy team got last place by one point and my girls team got 4th by about 15 points. The way it works here is the top half teams go to state and then the top third individually. In our district we have five school so the top three get to go to state (you round up always). This year we got to take the top 11 individually. My teams didn't make it but my freshman got 8th and so I will be taking her to Northern Idaho on Thursday for state which is on Saturday. So, I will be missing halloween. I am really upset about it so Tyson has been given strict instructions to take lots of pictures. He will be in big trouble if he doesn't. But, I still wanted to do something with my kids for halloween so we went to a school carnival in St. Anthony. My brother in law works as an aid in the school district and we went for him even though he was at the hospital with his wife who had a baby that day. His name is Bridger Arnold, born on October 24th (Saturday), 9 pounds 1 ounce and 21 inches long. I am pretty sure that was Natalia at 3 months. They are doing good. I haven't seen him yet becuase of the strict rules at the hospital right now and I just don't want to bother them.
Anyway, back to what I was saying. We went to this carnival and I got to see Natalia in her Tinker Bell/ Fairy costume that Jessica made. I was good at watching. I made the head band and bought the wings. So here is a picture of her in the costume and I promise there will be more to come. FYI Jaden is spider man for halloween beacause he loves spiderman so much, but we saw a bumblebee transformer costume and Jaden allready knows what he is going to be next year. He is obsessed with transformers. For any one getting him christmas presents, we got him the first movie and we are getting him opitmus prime and a new bumblebee beacause he got worn out. All the other ones are free game, he really likes the motorcycle transformers.

Natalia Eating

I don't know if these pictures were her first time eating but she reacts the same way every time. She dives for the spoon. It makes things very difficult and frustrating sometimes. She likes food and she likes the texture but she still hasn't figured it out completely. She hates green beans but so did Jaden. When we gave them to her she gagged but she will eat them she just has this look of, "do i really need to eat this". I hope she likes them later on because I love green beans and Jaden doesn't we always have to force him to eat two at dinner. He'll eat broccoli though he told me they are little trees. I think she was eating rice cereal in these pictures. Hope you enjoy.

What a Week!!!

This week has been insane. It's homecoming week at Shelley High School and Cross Country Districts. Those two falling on the same week aren't good. First, one of my varsity runners twisted his ankle so we will be taping and puting an ankle brace on tomorrow. If it were any other race I would make him sit out. Then today at the assembly my top girl runner was in the milk/pixie stick chugging marathon. That's just the least of my problems right now it feels like. Tomorrow is Districts and I can't wait for them to be over.
Natalia wasn't feeling well again so I decided to take her back into the doctor last night. She has an ear infection in her left ear and a sinus infection. She is doing so much better today after the antibiotics. On Tuesday night she screamed all night. Good thing I didn't have to work the next day. I have to admit at four in the morning I had hit my sanity level and went and slept downstairs on the couch and made Tyson deal with it. He can sleep through alot more than I can. Hopefully it goes away and doesn't come back.
Since it was homecomeing week we had a door decorating contest. We are moving up to 4A next year and so the theme was rocking the conference. (by the way for any who don't know our mascot is a russet potato). I had made some really cool potatoes for the spud day parade that represented the three music teachers in my room. I didn't want to throw them away because I had worked so hard on them. Well, they came in good use. We made the double doors to my room look like a stage. I put black paper on the door to cover it, then I got white paper and twisted it up to make the metal scafolding that the lights hang from. We took a cardboard box and cut it up to make the state pop out and put red duck tape on it to make it look good. Then we took glitter glue and made a whole bunch of light hanging from the scafolding with christmas lights to. We cut out a whole bunch of little russets for the crowd and covered the bottom of the door just bellow the stage with that. We took my awesome potatoes and name tags I made and I was the rock band singer, Lynda was the guitar player and angela was the drummer behind an amazing drum set that one of our students drew. Finally to top it off we put our subs out there and a cd player playing Queen. It was the best door in the whole school and I didn't get pictures of it because my camera batteries died and after a week of being up it was starting to fall down. I hope someone got a picture of it. Anyway, they announced the winner today at the assembly and I got SECOND! Seriously everyone said that mine was the most creative and artistic. Thanks mom but I'm sure it would have looked even better if you were there. I lost to a math teacher who taped a whole bunch of pots and pans to the wall and had drum sticks out for people to make noise with. I don't care what they say, mine was by far the best out their. I don't know how to top it next year, maybe I will have to get my mom to design the next one and just send me everything to tape onto the door. I did have to throw my awesome potatoes away. They had a good life though.
Tomorrow is district cross country and then on halloween is state in Northern Idaho. A thirteen hour drive from this area. Seriously can we just go to Oregon, that sounds so much better than Northern Idaho. Actually Northern Idaho is really pretty but I have never had a runner run an outstanding race there before.
Well I hope you enjoy our blog.

Couches

Tyson got me new couches. Pictures will come soon. We had a sectional in our basement that came with our house. The reason being they closed up the door they had brought it threw. Well, that door wasn't closed up properly so we put it back in. The sectional was nice to have for a while but was old and started to fall apart. It was just recently pushed up against the wall and the tv to keep the armrest and back from falling apart. I had found some red couches that I really liked and they went on clearance so I got my christmas present early. The love seat was gone so I got a black couch also. So I have read and black downstairs. I really like them. Now if we can get the tv to work again so I can start working out again on the wii. I don't know what happened. Tyson was watching football and turned it off to go hometeaching. Came home to watch it again and it won't turn on. I don't want to buy a new tv.

6 Months

Natalia is six months old. We went to the doctor on Thursday and she weighs 14 pounds 3.5 oz. She is 25 inches long. Her weight is in the 30th percentile and her weight I think thy said the 25th percentile but I can't remember. She hated her shots and screamed very loud. Jaden held her hand the whole time and kept on saying "it's ok sweetheart" what a good brother. She rolls over all the time. One day I ran upstairs to put something away and I came back down and she had rolled all the way across the room. We got her a walker and went to put her in it. Well, since she is so short her feet don't touch the ground on the lowest heighth. She still likes it though because Jaden pushes her around and all the toys on it. I really wanted the disney princess one for her but I found the same one except whinnie the pooh on craigslist for half the price. Couldn't really pass it up and it's brand new. I'm sure she is getting closer to walking but I am trying not to notice. She hasn't quite figured out how to get her legs under her, but I don't mind because I don't want her to grow up.

Pumpkins

This year I didn't want to carve pumpkins. I hate the mess it makes and I really hate cleaning it up. My mom sent these felt face things for pumpkins and so we did that instead. It was quick andmess free. As you can see though Jaden made a mess of all the other halloween stuff though. Natalia really liked eating the pumpkin peices. That was her favorite part as you can see. Hers was the puppy and Jaden decided he liked the frankenstein.

Pumpkin Patch

While we were in Boise we went to this fun pumpkin patch and corn maze. This year the corn maze was in the shape of the Boise State logo. Now, it was the wrong team but it was still fun. After Five miles of corn maze I was so tired and you know what I got for getting all the check points. A bag of over salted popcorn. The last thing I wanted. I suggested they give out bottles of water and they said that would cost to much money. They charge $8 for the corn maze but we got a deal for $4 because they are LDS and they had the boy scouts in the stake selling tickets for the first two weeks it was open. They also had this fun train hooked to the bag of a tractor made out of big buckets. Jaden really liked it. Th others are of us in the pumpkin patch. Jaden didn't want a big pumpkin because he wanted to be able to carry it himself. He still dropped it a couple of times and now it has a little bit of a soft spot but he doesn't really care.

Boise

I was trying to get Natalia to hod a cute little green pumpkin.
Janie took this picture isn't it so cute. I think it's my favorite. Natalia is so photogenic.

Natalia on the Hay ride.

Jaden loving the Hay ride.

Earings

I got Natalias ears pierced right before I went to Boise. I was trying to decide when to do it and had talked to a couple of people. I decided now was the best time so she doesn't really know they are there and in result doesn't play with them beucase they have to stay in for at least six weeks. I don't plan on taking them out at that time anyway because it's just easier to leave them in. Also, they have to be 14k gold to reduce the risk of an infection. Jessica went with me to get it done and actually left me all by myself when they did it. We picked out little diamond studs for her birth stone. She did really good. It wasn't a blood curdiling scream like when she gets shots. It was more of a crying squeel. I couldn't really get a good picture of them but here is a cute picture of her. Afterward Jessica decided to piant her toenails. We sat outside because it wasn't cold yet and she stared at Jessica doing it the whole time. It was actually really cute.

The Famous Shelley Spud Day

Shelley is a small town here in Idaho. I teach at the school and last year it finally became a 4A school. Anyway, they are still big farmers in the area and do alot of potatoes, we get 2 weeks off from school just to harvest potatoes. I have to go back tomorrow. I have really been enjoying my two weeks off. The only down side is that it cuts into our Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks a little. On Spud day they have a parade and then a thing in the park with booths. This year the choir did face painting and lets just say I got really good at spiderman. Ugh. I wish you were here mom. I also got requests for Sonic, Tinkerbell, flowers, hearts, horse, cat, dog, and butterflys. I like doing flowers and hearts. They do a spud tug. It's a tug a war but a mashed potato pit. As you can see from the pictures they are real mashed potatoes. What they do is they bring in a HUGE box of those mashed potatoe flakes and a cement truck. The fire department puts bucket after bucket into the cement truck and then they start mixing. Then just like cement they dump them out into the pit. Enjoy the pictures. The last picture is one of my nerdy choir shirts. It has a fermata (a birds eye) and has it's meaning which is, You Can Hold Me As Long As You Want.

Life

I found my camera. My partner in crime in the music room put it in my desk so that it was out of student eyes. I have tons of adorable pictures to put up when I get back from Boise. We went to a corn maze and pumpkin patch, shopping, and more shopping, we went out to eat, I got to see Emily Castleton (Day). I have been having so much fun but am exausted from watching my kids by myself. How do single moms do it? Natalia has had a pretty bad cold and they said if it doesn't start clearing up by this thursday to take her in again because they want to make sure it doesn't turn into a sinus infection. She has been so miserable the last two weeks. She isn't being so fussy now but she is so stuffed up and green goop is coming out of her eyes and nose. YUCK!!!!! She is getting to be closer to six months and I can't believe it. It really feels like I had her just yesterday. Jaden has been having so much fun with Gabe and Yomar, his uncles. He is bouncing off the walls and has been saying the funniest stuf. He asks so many questions lately. He is so interested in learning lately. He is always asking me what letter that is or what letter does that word start with. He asked me this morning if we have bones in our nose. Very random. He is also quite the artist. The other day we were at Tysons class room and he drew pictures of all of us. He had us all pretty proportionate. It was amazing and they actually looked like people. They had the body, arms, legs, hands, feet, even hair was correct. He told me I have boy hair because my hair is so short and it's hard to draw. Girls are supposed to have long hair, except for babies are supposed to have short hair. Well, I will have pictures up soon and you will be able to see all of our adventures from september and the beginning of october which has been a crazy month. By the way, the other day we had a mixture of snow and rain. The day before it was 80 degrees. Today we got a call from Aunt Sue and it had snowed five inches and broke a whole bunch of trees. Somehow we missed fall and went straight from summer to winter. Again, YUCK!!!!!!!

Update

So, I left my camera at school on my desk. At least I hope I did because if I left it on the piano it probably has been stolen. If it's on my desk we will be ok because my office is locked up. I'm a little nervous though because I got some really cool pictures. The mashed potato pit actually look like mashed potatoes this year. They looked so gross in that quantity. I can defiently say that I am sick of the smell of potatoes right now. I don't like much of potatoes any way. When I was pregnant with Natalia we made some amazing potato soup and I threw it up for the next couple of hours after I ate and refuse to eat it ever again. I am now on a two week break for Spud Harvest. I am going to be going down to Kuna (next to Boise) on Thursday after my cross country meet. I am so excited to go shopping and just get away from Rigby for a couple of days. I am also excited to get rid of the kittens. Janie, I love them and they are so fun but when Jaden lets them out in the morning they come and jump on my head first thing. Jaden loves them though.
Last saturday I was at spud day and before I left there was this white dog in our yard. When I came home at the end of the day it was still there and Jaden had named it Elsie. We didn't lock it up so I thought for sure it would leave in the night. We woke up on Sunday and it was still at our house. Jaden was so excited. Came back from church and it was laying next to diamond. Stayed all Sunday night and was barking at something. It was a really sweet dog and Jaden really liked it and it really liked Jaden but I just don't need another dog in our house during the winter. One is to many allready. The other problem was that every time a car passed the house it would chase it. It almost got hit a couple of times. So, Monday morning we called the Sherrif and told them we had a stray dog that was really sweet and needed a good home. We don't have a pound here but one of the vet offices has a pet adoption. So the evil compliance officer came to the house and was actually very nice. He took about ten minutes so the dog would warm up to him and so Jaden could say good bye he could tell Jaden was pretty upset that he had to give the dog up. He put the dog in the back of the truck and told Jaden that someone would come and get him and then told me that if it wasn't adopted here in Rigby they would send it up to Jackson to be adopted. It was nice to know that they don't put animals down. When we were looking at dogs we found an older sweet one that loved to go camping but the owner moved into an apartment and needed to get rid of her. She was a pampered pooch. We decided to think it over during the weekend. Well, during the weekend when they are closed and we had decided to adopt her they got to full and older dogs get put down first and she was gone on Monday. I was so sad. That owner loved that dog and had such a hard time letting go of her and then they went and put her down. People fix your darn dogs! Anyway, when they drove off with Elsie, Jaden started crying and was so sad that he couldn't keep her. I told him that she was going to go home to her mommy and daddy and Jaden said, "she told me she wanted to stay here. She said her mommy and daddy are mean to her." She was a little starved looking and that just killed me.
Other than that and my camera missing I haven't done much. Oh, I did freeze about 20 quarts of corn that tyson planted. I didn't do much Christine helped me and did more than I did. We left the rest of the corn for them and when I get back I am going to help them can the rest of it for them.
When I get my camera back, and hopefully I know where it's at I will post the pictures that I promised a couple of weeks ago.
By the way, Natalia Rae Arnold is now Five Months Old! I can't believe it. I don't want her to grow up any more.

This Week

In the community I teach in we have something called Spud Day. The whole week is dedicated to the potato. There is a parade about potatoes, and booths for potatoes and we have a spud tug. They take a big cement truck and mix mashed potatoes in the truck then they dump them in a pit and they have a tug a war over the pit of mashed potatoes. I will have to take pictures of everything for you after tomorrows events. During the week we have the high school pageant called Miss Russet. This year I had three students in it, one of my students one and I was so excited. She deserved it more than any one else. I also have a student that was first runner up and she doesn't really like me but they announced that her favorite class is show choir. Confusing? I now have a nick name at the school. All the teachers will start laughing and call me teacher of the year or "so and so's T.O.Y."
I am so excited for this week to be over. I am so sick of potatoes. Our float will be one of the coolest floats ever. I will defiently be taking pictures, and pictures of our choir shirts. You will love them they are so nerdy.

State Fair

Every year the choirs work at the fair to make money. The Shelley Kiwanis have a Scone Nugget booth that we work at for half the day for about $400 dollars. This year we worked the last day of the fair and did clean up so we got an extra hundred dollars. Anyway, it wasn't very busy until about 4 or 5 in the evening. The demolition derby was starting then and we got bombarded. I went to the fair earlier in the day so I could walk around. Every year we go with Temala, Mark and their kids and go look at the animals, and the petting zoo. We aren't much for the rides. This year Tyson and the Kids ended up making a day trip to Kuna for a family friends funeral. So I went by myself with Temala, Mark and their kids. We had fun, when we got to the petting zoo they also had dogs for sale and Mark was so excited, they ended up buying a dog. He's cute and Conner and Carter seem to like him. I don't know what they have decided to name him. After that it was about time for me to go work in the Scone Nugget booth. While I was working at the frier some of the oil splashed when I put the scones in and I burnt my arm. I have about 6 nickel sized blisters that are nice and pussy on my arm. While I was walking out of the fair I hit one on my purse and it popped, so when I got home I wrapped it up to protect them. Good thing becuase Natalia kicked them this morning and man did it hurt. Jessica loved the scones and was pretty upset that I didn't bring any home for her. I have the recipe memorized and the honey butter they use is sold hear at Broulims in Rigby. Maybe when i'm not so grosed out by them I will make her some more. I came home smelling deep fried and I had a layer of grease on my skin. Literally. It was so nasty.

Visit to the Vet

On Thursday I took the animals to the vet. I got Janie and Kelly (Tysons Parents) two little black kittens to put on their land to catch mice. Right now they are still at my house till I can bring them down during Spud Harvest break. Well, they needed their first set of shots and Cali and Diamond needed their shots as well. So, Cali doesn't like other animals. I decided to take all four animals to the vet at the same time beacause then I only have to pay one office visit. I am sure they are still talking and laughing about how entertaining it was. I caught Cali and put her in the cat kennel and put her in the back seat of the Focus. Then I put the kittens in a empty diaper box and closed the top and put them on top of Cali in the back seat. Then I put Jaden and Natalia in the Car. Finally I got the dog and put her in the front seat next to me and she got hair everywhere. We got to the vet office and I took the kittens and Natalia out then I got Cali and finally went back for Diamond. They took Cali in by herself, gave her the shots, put her back in the kennel and took her out to the car for me. She was meowing so loud it is horrible sounding. Then we took Jaden, Natali, the kittens and Diamond into the room. Took care of the kittens, and then it was diamond turn. She was so scared and growled a little at the vet. She wouldn't hurt a fly but she was shaking so bad. I had to pick her up and put her on the exam table. She was freaking out so they put a muzzle on her and Jaden stood by her telling her she was ok. It was actually kind of cute. $188 later we were finally done. Went home and took everyone back out again and let them loose.

Some Funny Pics

The first picture is of Natalia. She had spit up on her blanket and then rolled over into, so when we picked her up she gave Jessica and I this huge smile and she looked so funny because she got it on her forhead.

Jaden loves to hold his baby sister.

Jaden playing Wack A Mole with Grandma and Grandpa Drake. It was so funny. Grandma really got into it.

Yellowstone

This summer we didn't travel much. We had alot of family come and go this year, which was tons of fun. Right before school started we went on a little famly trip. Every year we go to Yellowstone because we only live an hour away. It wasn't the nicest day up there but we had fun. No we didn't see Obama up there. We went the week before he was in Yellowstone.

Jaden and Tyson in front of Old Faithful

This year we didn't see much for animals. We only saw a couple of elk, a dear, and the buffalo. If you have never been to Yellowstone you usually see tons of animals. The bears you usually find in North Yellowstone and you should bring some binoculars for them. They stay away from the road for the most part. The others you find everywhere. The buffalo are all over the park but they seem to like the area near the Dragons Caldron the most. Well, this year we were 3/4 of the way through the park and we still hadn't seen any buffalo, all the sudden we were in stand still traffic for a good half hour or longer and I was wondering what was going on. We thought someone must have hit an animal or got in an accident with another car. When we finally got to the front of the commotion we realized that ALL the buffalo in the park were in one place and since no one had seen any everyone was stopping on the road. The rangers had to keep traffic moving. That one place was right next to the Dragon Caldron.

Random

Natalia is growing up so much. She still is smiling all the time and is just so sweet. I don't think there can possibly be a cuter girl than her. She is such a good baby and is still letting me sleep all through the night.
Not much has been going on in or lives except for school and cross country meets. My team is struggling right now, for some reason we don't have the dedication that I would like to see. But, we are working on it.
Today Jaden got out a big book to practice his letters that I found at Seagull book. He was tracing the letters than writing them him self. He knows A B C and D and he is doing a pretty good job. I can't believe he is four years old.
By the way don't forget anyone that Tyson is turning 29 on Wednesday. We are teasing him that he is getting old and losing more hair. We keep on telling him his hair will be gone in five years.
We also started this kind of bet. Who ever works out the most will get 20 dollars every month. But, we can only count 30 minutes a day. I plan on winning.
